Came here with a friend to enjoy some evening tea and dessert, it was very quiet with no crowds. Share the desserts when you can if you choose the pudding options. Our teas were brought to us in very unique cottage-shaped teapots!

Not sure of all the hype. The high tea was good but not great. The sandwiches were checked full of filling and bread was fresh and moist. The dessert was very good. I ordered side of custard for the cake and it was well worth it. Sandwiches and desserts were very generous portions. Oddly the scones were small and very dry. Tea selections were moderate. I had the earl grey and English blend but it was rather weak. My daughter had the rose and it was better but not by much. The place was rather small so seating was quite tight. It seemed rushed to turn over the tables so the experience was not very relaxing. Not worth returning in my opinion. The English store next door was very charming though!

Love the food, service and atmosphere! This was a very enjoyable experience, I would definitely go back and have their afternoon tea again. Pastries were fresh, sandwiches were well balanced and the tea was delightful.

The food is not bad. Stick to the tea service because everything else is pretty overpriced. Lovely Victorian sponge cake. Place is real cute. You will be sitting on top of each other. However service is atrocious. They are rude - and there's an ordering minimum for all which is easy to fullfil - except that they are rude and expect to be compensated well for their rudeness. Been there several times. Last time we actually wanted to order another tea but the lady serving us completely forgot about it because she was too busy pouring herself a glass of wine.

There is nothing you can’t love about this tea shop. Beautiful food and drink. Excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. It’s now one of my favourite places in all New York. If you like tea, scones or anything English go, go and go again. 😊
